Fotos trucadas

Perific Ergonomic Mouse Keeps Hands From Breaking
Perific Ergonomic Mouse Keeps Hands From Breaking: "Remember the days of the square-shaped mouse with only two rectangular buttons, with not a mouse wheel in sight? Those things were pretty torturous to use for any extended period of time, mainly because of their unforgiving design.
Perific hopes to eliminate that problem with a new wireless mouse/trackball that forgoes feature bloat in favor of giving your hands a comfortable user experience. The Perific Ergonomic Mouse & Trackball secret to success is that it can be used in a whole bunch of manners, ensuring that your hand isn't making the same gestures and movements over and over again. Remove its shell and it becomes a normal mouse, but movement is done via the trackball and you can hold it in a variety of different positions.
Further making it easier on your hands, there's two sets of buttons on either side of the mouse, so you can use it in either mode (with or without shell). The mouse designed to keep your hands free from crippling pain costs $119.

Solar-Powered Implant: Cure for Blindness?
Solar-Powered Implant: Cure for Blindness?: "Combining hardware with human bodies gains even more traction with these solar-powered retinal implants that spray a neurotransmitter substance onto retinal cells, restoring sight to the blind. There are no batteries required, either, because the whole thing is solar powered.

Flashbag Bloats When Full
Flashbag Bloats When Full: "The Flashbag is a USB flash drive that will inflate as it fills up with data. Similar to how I inflate when filled up with donuts and beer. Now you may be asking why a gadget like this would be useful. Well, it really isn't, but it is definitely cool and an innovative USB flash drive design, which is pretty rare nowadays. The Flashbag is only a concept right now but the designer, Dima Komissarov, has a patent pending on this device, so hopefully a company will pick it up soon.

LG's Concept Wall Mounted Projector
LG's Concept Wall Mounted Projector: "This device won the 2006 iF Design Gold Award, it is a flat-designed projector for wall-mounting purposes. There is a remote-controlled lens door, auto focus, zoom and ventilation is not a problem in the thin-metal housing. It is quiet at only 25 db and can project up too 100 inches from upwards of 17 feet. This is still a concept design and there is no word if this projector will actually appear on the market.

Quick Power Connector
Quick Power Connector: "Because of a bad experience with a spoon, a light socket, and a wet cat, we try to stay away from electricity. Thankfully, Eubiq (Singapore) has come up with a new way to keep us safe. It's a power transmission track which, as the name suggests, is literally a track supplying power anywhere you want. Eubiq says that it can even be used in the kitchen where water is prone to splash around.Since there are not 'sockets' its not possible to get a shock. If you really wanted to push it, try inserting a sharp metallic object into the track, it still won't make your hair stand on end.
Eubiq says that it is possible for them to do it by the GSS system, and it is compatible with most plugs in the market. The track itself is a kind of a long slider on which the plug can fit in at any point. The device comes with special attachments which fits on to the slider and metallic parts are kept to a minimum.

Stupid Bank Fees
Stupid Bank Fees: "In Australia: Wrong PIN? That'll be $2, thanks.
BANKS have hit a new low by charging fees for cancelled transactions and incorrectly entered PINs, the Australian Consumers Association says.
And most consumers did not know the charges existed, said the association's senior finance policy officer, Nick Coates. 'Although no actual transaction goes through, a fee is charged,' he said.
'The fee simply turns up on their account statement at the end of the month, in addition to any regular transaction and administrative fees.' Dr Coates said the fees, from 60 cents to $2, might be charged for entering a PIN incorrectly, choosing the wrong account type, not having sufficient funds or aborting the transaction before completion.
I should jump on the fee-collection bandwagon. How about a $0.35 fee for every comment you post on this blog?

Scanpen Now in Color
Scanpen Now in Color: "The old grey lady reports on a new blue pen: one that scans in color, has 8MB of built-in flash memory and a microSD card slot to add more.
Planon's RC800 DocuPen works just like the old hand-held scanners from the 1980s: just slide it over the page. Now, of course, you can just whip it out of your handbag, do the deed, and plug it in later to a PC or Mac's USB port to view the secret plans. It is available now through the manufacturer's website at www.planon.com, priced $350.
Be warned that the 'pen' is in fact 9 1/2 inches long, so DocuPaintbrush or DocuSausage might have been more apt, albeit harder to market, names for the device.

Sony MDR-EX90SL Earphones Fit a 13.5mm Driver into a 9mm Hole
Sony MDR-EX90SL Earphones Fit a 13.5mm Driver into a 9mm Hole: "
Paying close attention laws of physics, Sony created a pair of earphone drivers that are large enough to give you big sound but have a smaller swiveling tip that's 9mm in diameter, just able to fit into your ear canal. These 13.5mm drivers are able to inject 5-25,000Hz of audio goodness into your skull, according to Sony.
Heck, that's a lot of sound, where the lowest 5Hz number sounds like a rhythmic ticking noise and that 25,000Hz frequency is so high that only dogs can hear it. The question is, what do these mini-maxi earpieces sound like between those two extraordinary numbers? The company says it will release the new phones on May 10 for $104.

Netvibes cada día me gusta más
aviam si me'n recordo de provar-ho ... :
